The learning continues…
We are already halfway through the Toastmasters year, and the last couple of months have meant plenty of activities, meetings, events and Christmas parties, and new initiatives. Watch here a review of the past year in Toastmasters, courtesy of Lucía Maté.
From the PR side we saw TM Sardinero’s President and VP Education on TV, promoting Toastmasters, explaining CC and CL manuals… Great! Watch them here:
Many initiatives are in place to have new clubs, in Santiago de Compostela, Zaragoza, San Sebastian (English and French club!) and in Santander, Sofcloud IT is set to be the first corporate club in the North of Spain! Do think about dropping by those clubs if you have the chance, let’s help them charter!
To look forward to we have even more Toastmasters activities and fun coming up. Here are some key events and dates for you to keep in mind:
Officers should be learning and sharing best practices in upcoming Club Officers Meetings: find when and where and sign up! This is a fantastic opportunity to share best practices, get help from fellow officers on how to deal with challenges your club may have, and get in touch with other “Toasties”.
It’s the turn for Evaluations and International Speeches contests, so sign up for your Club contest now!
Also, a new season of contests starts soon. It’s the turn for Evaluations and International Speeches contests, so sign up for your Club contest now! Area contests will come next, in Vitoria, Malaga (both on March 5th), and Madrid (also on March 5th for Area H2, and March 12th for Area H1), and then, in Bilbao we will have Division H Conference the weekend of April, 2nd. Rowing as a team!
Our winners will go on to compete to the District Conference in Luxembourg, and who knows, maybe even to the International one!
And remember Madrid is organizing the following District Conference: in November, MAD Fun&Sun: come to Madrid!
